Safety Management System Superintendent
Halmahera, ID
Location : Halmahera - Indonesia
Responsibilities:
• Designs, keeps updated and improves the internal Safety Management System policies, objectives, documents and processes. The SMS must be in accordance with the Eramet Group, best international practices and Indonesian regulations and applicable to WBN Mining Division.
• The SMS must be approved by the WBN Mining Division Management Team.
• Supports the Safety Manager in the implementation of the SMS in all the areas of the Division and its contractors.
• Plans and conducts internal and external audits to ensure accordance between processes implemented and the SMS.
Training
• Identifies and executes the Safety Training Plan for all the areas of WBN’s Mining Division and its contractors in accordance with the requirements of the SMS.
• Identifies and executes the Safety Training Plan for all the members of the Safety Team in coordination with the Safety Manager and Safety Superintendents.
Safety Specialist
• Ensures the availability of the Safety Specialists required by the critical activities of the Division
• Guarantees by training activities that the Safety Specialists keep updated in their area of incumbency in accordance with the national and international requirements.
• Ensure the quality of SOP and JSA development.
Risk Analysis
• Implements and keeps updated a general Risk Analysis matrix of the processes of the Division.
• Fosters a risk-based approach for all the activities of the division by applying general and specific tools (Take 5, JSA, Work Permits).
• Deploys Risk analysis specific tools for changes and new projects (HAZOP, HAZID).
Reporting and KPIs
• Generates all the needed reports (internal or external) of the safety performance in accordance to the SMS requirements.
• Determines and follows up the KPIs required for the performance of the Safety activities in accordance to the SMS requirements.
• Ensures the integrity between the safety performance and the information included in the SAFEE system
About you:
• B.Sc. Or Master’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related discipline
• Proven experience in design and implementation of Safety Management Systems
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mining, oil & gas or industrial companies
