Tech Lead Run Cybersecurity (W/M)

Job description:

The Group IT Department currently employs around sixty people. It works on activities specific to the mining sector (geology, exploration, mine management, the railway line in Gabon, plant management) as well as cross-functional functions enabling the company to operate (Finance, HR, Purchasing, etc.).

The Security Tech Lead is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Group's network security elements in operational condition, and for handling requests to open application flows. He plays an essential role in guaranteeing the security and smooth operation of infrastructure security bricks.

To do this, he has a thorough understanding of operational needs, site limitations and physical infrastructures. He knows how to work within a DevOps framework and approach.

He/she implements the company's safety policy in his/her field.

The position reports to the IT Operations Manager & End Users Services. Position based in Clermont Ferrand or Paris 15

Responsibilities :

Management :

• Produce a dashboard at regular intervals
• Follows up requests to open internal/external flows until they are implemented, in compliance with security policy.
• Maintains access lists (cleaning), and any waivers. To this end, it collaborates with all application departments.
• Builds and maintains the application dictionary

Domain maintenance and development :

• Provides technical and functional expertise in its field, in collaboration with architects
• Analyze and optimize the performance of security tools
• Audit and catalog existing security infrastructures and solutions

Administration and support :

• Advises on and helps implement changes and developments in its field
• Oversees the maintenance of existing systems and networks to ensure their smooth operation
• Diagnoses and fixes system and network problems, implementing patches or alternative solutions
• Carry out regular software updates, security patches and firmware upgrades to guarantee system stability and performance, or ensure that the outsourcer does so in compliance with SLAs.
• Implements performance indicators for its field
• Manages existing outsourcers, participates in the governance of security operations

Your Profile:

• Engineering degree in computer science, networking/telecommunications or cybersecurity
• Significant experience in managing systems and network operations and security bricks
• Certification in networking (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) and/or security (CISSP, CEH, etc.) would be a plus.
• Fluent English
• Solid knowledge of corporate IS architecture and functionalities
• Expertise in network and systems administration (routers, firewalls, proxies, WAF, etc.)
• Knowledge of network and telecoms protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN, WAN, NAT, PAT, PKI, Certificates, etc.) Management of infrastructure software (supervision, ITSM, etc.)
• Good knowledge of telecoms and Internet technologies (DNS, SSH, FTP, DHCP, HTTP(S), NTP, SNMP...) Knowledge of security standards and procedures and related tools and technologies: firewall, antivirus, authentication servers, URL filtering, SASE, CSPM, NSPM, SSL...
• Scripting PowerShell, Terraform, DevOps,...
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
