Tech lead Scalable Infra Operation (W/M)

Job description:

 

The Group IT Department currently employs around sixty people. It works on activities specific to the mining sector (geology, exploration, mine management, railway line in Gabon, plant management) as well as cross-functional functions enabling the company to operate (Finance, HR, Purchasing, etc.).

The Scalable Infrastructure Tech Lead is responsible for managing all operations and production resources. He/she is responsible for ensuring that service quality and security levels meet user expectations.

As a true manager, he/she coordinates relations with technical architects, project managers, the operations team, technical experts in the subsidiaries and the Group's ecosystem of partners, on a permanent, rigorous and transparent basis.

 

He/she acts as a technical expert for operations technicians.

Position based either in Clermont Ferrand or Paris 15.

Position reporting to IT Operation & End User Services.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitors applications, underlying infrastructure systems and the cloud
  • Manages operating and outsourcing service providers within the scope of the position, and leads level 2 support within a "Follow The Sun" organization.
  • Oversees incident resolution and the resolution of recurring problems
  • Leads change management, CAB and production releases
  • Optimize hybrid infrastructure run processes and associated costs

 

In addition, its main missions:

 

IT production, supervision and maintenance

 

  • Supervise all production, systems engineering and operations.
  • Maintain applications and infrastructures to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Optimize production tasks, IT resources and associated budgets.
  • Draw up and manage the IT production budget.
  • Manage operating service providers, guaranteeing contractual commitments and service levels.
  • Automate and industrialize deployments within area of responsibility.

 

 Guarantees the quality, performance and security of the information system.

 

  • Supervise all production, systems engineering and operations.

  • Optimize production tasks, IT resources and associated budgets.
  • Draw up and manage the IT production budget.
  • Manage operating service providers, guaranteeing contractual commitments and service levels.

Continuous Improvement of IT Production

 

  • Monitor and manage IS application and technical components.
  • Produce dashboards to monitor the health and continuity of IT production and service levels.
  • Propose and implement improvement plans as part of a continuous improvement approach.
  • Ensure the completeness and updating of documentation, component operating procedures and operational processes.
  • Ensure continuous technological monitoring of its scope.

 

Your profile:

 

  • Initial training BAC+5 or Master's specialized in IT
  • ITIL professional certification
  • Fluent English
  • Good knowledge of the company's IS architecture and functionalities.
  • Expertise in the administration of domain components. (Azure, Terraform, etc.)
  • Mastery of infrastructure software management (supervision, ITSM, etc.)
  • Very good knowledge of the technologies in its field.
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Cloud Azure, O365, Teams, etc.).
  • Knowledge of security standards and procedures and related tools and technologies.
  • Ability to analyze impacts and estimate technical risks
  • Ability to listen and dialogue to understand and anticipate project needs, coordinate the work of his/her team
