The intern will join the Social Relations and Remuneration department of an emblematic mining company in New Caledonia, Société Le Nickel (SLN), which is present since 1880, develops the natural resources of 5 mines and subcontracts the exploitation of 7 others.
He/she will be required to work on all the areas of responsibility of the department (collective labor relations, individual relations, contracts and amendments, negotiation of agreements, disciplinary, substantive files in social law to prepare the evolution of the statutes social…).
In close collaboration with the Social Relations Manager, the Social Transformation Manager, the Relations and Human Resources Managers, the HR business experts (Organizational Development, Training, Payroll, HRIS) and the operational managers, the intern will take charge of the following missions:
- Participate in the preparation and negotiation/renegotiation of agreements;
- Update the management guide, the internal HR management bible for employees, by integrating the latest agreements, amendments, end-of-conflict protocols signed as well as changes in practices;
- Ensure the regulatory watch in social law and more particularly the regulatory watch impacting payroll;
- Write thematic legal memoranda according to current events and the needs of the HRD and managers;
- Prepare background files on major social issues (company restaurant, working hours, etc.);
- Assist managers and MRRH in the implementation of disciplinary procedures;
- Assist the MRRH in the drafting of contracts and amendments;
- Assist the HRD, the Head of Department and the Social Relations Managers in the organization, preparation and holding of Staff Representative Bodies (CCE, CE, DP, CHSCT);
- Participate in the preparation and proper holding of elections for the renewal of CEs and DPs;
- Assist Social Relations Managers in individual negotiations;
- Prepare and lead training in thematic labor law for Managers and the HR community;
Required profile :
Master 2 in Social Relations & Law / Labor Law
Required knowledge:
- Mastery of computer tools Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Perfect mastery of French
- Driving license required: Yes, license B
