Human Resources Assistant W/M
Eramet Grande Côte is a Senegalese (subsidiary of the Eramet Group) that specializes in the recovery of ilmenite, rutile, ilmenite, and zircon. The mine and its two processing plants have been in service since 2014. The project has managed to overcome a series of human, technical, and societal challenges to recover these natural resources, in partnership with the country’s public authorities and local communities.
Main tasks

- Updating the HRIS (Talent@work)
- Maintain personnel files,
- Issue HR administrative documents.
- Welcoming and assisting employees with administrative formalities.
Responsibilities/Activities/Tasks
Reporting to the Responsible of Personnel Administration, the incumbent is responsible for :
- Drawing up fixed-term and open-ended employment contracts and other amendments to employment contracts
- Welcoming new recruits and having them sign employment documents monitoring probationary periods and the end of fixed-term contracts, by sending evaluation requests within the agreed deadlines
- Enter personnel movements (promotions, transfers, category changes, job changes, etc.) validated by line management into T@W.
- Update employees' marital status in T@W.
- Issue a response to an employee's resignation
- issue final notice of departure and exit form to departing employees
- Monitor health insurance (incorporation, co-payments, deregistration, coverage and reimbursement)
- Collect documents for the employee's personal file: birth certificate, marriage certificate, tax-exemption certificate, diplomas, etc.
- In conjunction with the clinic, schedule the PDM before new employees take up their posts, as well as general induction with the safety department.
- Participate in the digitization and filing of personnel files.
- Monitor the transmission of contracts and amendments to be validated by the labor inspectorate
- Follow up on documents relating to alimony payments (receipt of documents, filing in the employee's file and transmission to payroll).
- fill in the attendance time file for family allowance applications
- Draw up the monthly medical rest follow-up table by department.
- Update the monthly management chart for absences, leave, illness, sanctions, promotions and other personnel movements.
- Draw up leave certificates and issue them to those concerned.
- Monitor maternity leave and draw up administrative documents for social security coverage.
Required profile and experience
- Minimum 3 years' higher education in business administration, human resources management, economic and social administration.
- A Master's degree in Human Resources Management would be a plus.
- 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar position
- Experience in mining would be a real plus
Technical skills
- Basic knowledge of Human Resources management and Social Legislation/ Labor Code and Mining Agreement.
- Good knowledge of social security law and the role and operation of social institutions and organizations.
- Ability to write, computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Fluent in French and Wolof; English would be an asset
