HR Business Partner - W/M
Eramet Grande Côte, a subsidiary of the Eramet Group in Senegal, is dedicated to the sustainable development, production, and shipping of mineral sands, including Ilmenite, Zircon, Rutile, and Leucoxene. We aim to ensure the long-term sustainability of mineral sands mining in Senegal through our team of committed, competent, and motivated professionals.
Job Description :
As HR Business Partner for the sector, you will act as the local HR representative, serving as a close liaison between operational teams and the HR department. A true partner to managers, you will ensure effective implementation of the HR strategy on the ground within a dynamic industrial environment.
You will cover a scope of around 300 employees across operational and technical activities.
Responsibilities:
- Support managers on topics related to recruitment, talent management, diversity, and inclusion.
- Participate in workforce planning, challenge recruitment needs, and help anticipate talent pipelines.
- Contribute to training plans aligned with operational needs.
- Oversee performance evaluation processes (EAA, mid-year reviews) and managerial development.
- Monitor social climate and take part in attractiveness and retention initiatives.
- Advise managers on HR administrative matters: working time, contracts, payroll, and leave management.
- Manage disciplinary procedures in accordance with current regulations.
- Contribute to organizational and HR transformation projects.
- Provide regular reporting on HR performance indicators for your scope.
Your profile:
- Master's degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in an industrial or mining environment.
- Experience in HR project management, change support, and competency development.
- Solid understanding of HR fundamentals: talent management, training, labor law, employee relations.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and proximity with field teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong sense of confidentiality, rigor, and adaptability.
- Proficient in HR tools and HRIS.
- Languages: French, English, Wolof.
