La mine et les deux usines de transformation sont en service depuis 2014. International Volunteering – How does it work?
Context:
As part of its commitment to responsible transformation and operational excellence, Eramet Grande Côte is offering a strategic V.I.E assignment to strengthen the performance of its procurement and supply chain activities.
Reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Manager for the region, your mission will be to support the Senegalese entity in enhancing its purchasing and supply chain performance through the deployment of methodologies, tools, and processes aligned with Group standards. This high-stakes assignment also aims to integrate ESG principles into procurement practices to foster positive, ethical, and sustainable impact.

Main Responsibilities:
Your mission will include:

Deploying Group procurement best practices in accordance with the Eramet Management System (EMS) standards

Supporting local procurement projects: strategy development, digital tools, performance monitoring, and risk management
-
Assisting teams in continuous improvement of processes (B2P, controls, training, etc.)

Integrating ESG aspects into procurement policies: responsible purchasing, ethics, local supplier engagement
-
Contributing to logistics optimization and inventory management
-
Providing regular reporting on cost savings, action plans, and key performance indicators
-
Raising awareness and training internal stakeholders on procurement management tools and challenges
Your Profile:

Master's degree (Bac+5) from a business school, engineering school, or with a specialization in procurement or supply chain
-
3 to 4 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or project management, preferably in an international or industrial environment
-
Excellent knowledge of procurement and supply chain practices (strategic sourcing, contract management, logistics, etc.)

Ability to manage cross-functional projects in a multicultural environment
-
Strong analytical skills, rigor, proactivity, and synthesis abilities
-
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholders
-
Genuine interest in ESG topics and responsible sourcing

Proficient in office tools (especially Excel) and procurement information systems

Languages: Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken)

Previous international or intercultural experience is a plus
