Reminder concerning the VIE eligibility conditions required by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
- Be of French or European nationality (national of the Member States of the European Economic Area which includes the 27 Member States of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein) or Monegasque; and

For its Mineral Sand mining in Senegal, ERAMET is looking for a VIE Applications/Software developer for 12 months. The company's objective is to train the incumbent to become one of the key players of the local team in place and will gain knowledge and understanding of applications development and deployment in an industrial environment.
VIE Mission Objectives and Description:
- Actively contribute to evaluate and improve on the existing applications developed within the various departments.
- Develop operational manuals for existing applications.
- Develop new interfaces to allow transition into reporting tools such a Power BI.
- Seek alternative solution to existing software being used that meets the groups IT standards.
- Develop new tools where required with collaboration of the onsite IT teams
- Contribute to the overall digital transformation projects
Required Profile:
- Engineering /Master 2 Degree Computer science, Applications or Software Development
- Cloud certifications
- Proficient with programming languages such as C#, Power BI, Java, Python
- Basic project management skills
- Effective communication skills in French and English
- Experience with networking and compute infrastructure (e.g., servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers), and architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments
