You can be a volunteer if you meet the following 5 conditions:

  • Have applied on the Business France website (Mon V.I) between the age of 18 and 28 (no later than the day before the 28th birthday)
  • Be between 18 and 28 years of age on the date of registration. Departure on assignment must take place no later than the 29th birthday. No exceptions will be granted beyond this date.
  • Be French or a national of a European Economic Area (EEA) country
  • Comply with national service obligations (Journée de défense et de citoyenneté)
  • Enjoy your full civil rights (voting rights and clean criminal record)
  • Meet the physical fitness requirements for people carrying out similar activities in the host organization

Context:

 

As part of the Eramet Production System program, the World Class Maintenance (WCM) initiative is being rolled out across subsidiaries. This includes supporting maintenance departments, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), promoting best practices, and assisting in the development of employees’ skills.

 

Location: Diogo, Senegal

Duration: 12 months
Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible, depending on administrative processing

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Deploy the World Class Maintenance (WCM) approach within the company
  • Monitor and focus on maintenance KPIs and best practices to improve maintenance efficiency
  • Support departments in enhancing employee skills and in developing new standards aligned with WCM principles
  • Play a key role in the implementation of WCM at Eramet Grande Côte, especially by assisting maintenance departments, monitoring KPIs, promoting best practices, and supporting employee development

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in industrial or mechanical engineering
  • Solid technical knowledge to understand equipment, maintenance procedures, and safety standards
  • Proficiency with data analysis and KPI management tools is essential (MS Project, Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills: the ability to clearly convey information, provide accurate instructions, and work collaboratively across various teams and organizational levels
  • Proficiency in English is required to collaborate with international teams
