CSR Manager

 

Responsibilities : 
•    Within the frame of IWIP CSR and external affairs team, adapt and promote Eramet's strategic vision in terms of community relations (mitigation of societal impacts / dialogue with communities / local content and community investment) in the area of influence of WBN and Sonic Bay (locally and regionally).
•    Within the frame of IWIP CSR and external affairs team and in the context of Sonic Bay financing, lead the implementation of the social actions from Sonic Bay Environmental and Social Action Plan agreed with Sonic Bay lenders, including additional studies on livelihood restoration.
•    Develop and promote within IWIP’s CSR and external affairs team a comprehensive Stakeholder Engagement plan in the area of influence of WBN and Sonic Bay (locally and regionally). In particular when it comes to the societal impact management plan and the grievance mechanism in the area of influence. Within the frame of IWIP CSR and external affairs team, provide suggestions and promote new additional actions contributing to local populations in Halmahera and set up tools and systems to define and monitor such actions (support for the creation of a societal baseline, selection of CSR actions, definition and follow-up of the budget, follow-up of the results KPI).
•    Develop together with IWIP’s CSR and external affairs team a set of monitoring/evaluation reports for all social actions carried out, including regulatory indicators and social indicators jointly defined as per ERAMET’s standards
•    At the request of the Sustainability Manager of Eramet Indonesia, assist the management and teams of Eramet’s Indonesian subsidiaries in the field to implement their CSR roadmap, using the experience from working with IWIP’s CSR and external affairs team. 

 

About you: 
•    Proven experience of minimum 7 to 10 years on CSR, targeting remote locations, working for or with an international corporation, preferably industrial or mining (other industries with relevant remote location experience will also be considered)
•    Knowledge of ESG issues and extra-financial communication 
•    Knowledge of International CSR standards (World Bank/IFC, IRMA)
•    Transparency and ethics traits of personality
•    Strong ability for team work 
•    Strong communication skills
•    Knowledge of how companies operate (parent company/plant relationship)
•    Proven experience in delivering CSR actions with a positive impact
•    Good knowledge of project management
•    Good level of English (oral and written)
•    Preparedness to work in a remote area of Indonesia on a Fly-In Fly-Out basis (accommodation is in a base camp).
