Emergency Preparedness, Response & Crisis Management Superintendent
Main purpose of the position
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, the Emergency Response Superintendent is responsible for the development and the implementation of the Emergency Response Global organization: Plan, Team, Training, Material.
Scope of the position
In the frame of the Sonic Bay project in Indonesia, the jobholder is part of the Sonic Bay Project Safety team in order to design, implement, keep updated and improve the Global Emergency Response Plan.

Responsibilties:
Designs, keeps updated and improves the ERP (policies, standards, objectives, documents, procedures and specifications). The ERP must be in accordance with the Eramet and BASF Groups, best international practices and Indonesian regulations and applicable to the Sonic Bay Project.
Supports the Health & Safety Manager in the implementation of the ERP in all the areas of the Project and its contractors.
Plans and conducts internal and external audits to ensure accordance between processes implemented and the ERP
Interact with site operator IWIP local authorities and local emergency units.
Emergency Response Team:
Drive the ERT
Manage the schedule of the ERT and develop the resources
Develops, Identifies, organize, and executes the regular drills
Training:
Develops, Identifies, organize, and executes the ERP for all the areas of the Project and its contractors
Identifies and executes the ER training part of the global Safety Training Plan for all the members of the Project
Develop a Team of 1st responders in addition to the ERT
Risk Management and Analysis:
Support the Risk, Process Safety, Engineering, Construction teams on the risk analysis
Participate in incident investigations when relevant to ER
Reporting and KPIs:
Generates all the needed reports (internal or external) of the ER performance
Determines and follows up the KPIs required for the performance of the ER activities
Ensure corrective action plans follow up and guarantee completion on time
Ensures the integrity between the safety performance and the information included in the SAFEE system
ER equipment:
Guarantee perfect and constant functioning of all kinds of ER equipment (maintenance and tests)
Budget/Costs:
Defines and follow up the ER budget
Job Requirements :
• 2 to 3 years' post‐secondary education or firefighter team commander in chief
• 15 years' experience in industrial emergency response, with at least 5 years' experience on one or several major construction projects.
• Technical expertise in construction
• Chemical hazard knowledge
• English is a must
• Chinese or Bahasa will be highly considered
