Topographic Survey Assistant
Job Purpose
In the frame of the Sonic Bay Project in Indonesia, the jobholder is part of the construction team in order to:
1. Ensure safe and environmentally respectful working conditions for survey operations in Sonic Bay Project
2. Produce accurate and precise original topography data, including but not limited to mine depletion volumes, mining boundary limits, stock surveys, stakeouts of various designs, drillhole coordinates
3. Perform drone flights to collect topographic data, install and control ground control points (GCP)
4. Master the use of various topographic equipment such as but not limited to drones, RTK GPS and total stations
5. Perform calculation for monthly and weekly reports
6. Supervise and control survey works performed by contractors, including checks of contractor survey equipment
Complexity of the position
• Interface with various teams and various sets of data
• Multicultural environment, with communication in various languages
• Weda Bay is a remote area (living is base camp) with a roster arrangement
Main Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor Degree in Geodesy, Geography, Geophysics or other related field
- Have min. 2 to 3 years of experience as Surveyor required
- Experience flying a drone is preferred
