Senior Organization Development Specialist

Eramet, a global leader in the mining and metallurgy industry, is seeking a Senior Organization Development Specialist. This role is designed to lead and execute Organizational Development (OD) and Performance Management initiatives aligned with Eramet's business strategy and operational goals. This role is crucial in developing and implementing strategies to enhance organizational efficiency, employee engagement, and workforce capability across all Indonesian entities and projects.

 

Main Purpose of the Position:

  • To lead, develop, and validate OD initiatives, ensuring they align with the business strategy and support a diverse workforce.
  • To implement and manage performance management systems and processes that drive the achievement of strategic goals, providing guidance on performance management to enhance organizational performance.

 

Scope of the Position: The role encompasses job assessment, workload analysis, competency development, training needs analysis, competency assessment, talent and succession planning, career path development, diversity & inclusion initiatives, change management, and performance management across all entities and projects in Indonesia.

 

Major Challenges:

  • Serving as the interface between various projects and partners, including management and employees across all departments.
  • Working willingness in remote areas and adapting to frequent travel requirements.
  • Building trust and engagement with employees and stakeholders at all levels, while being flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the business.
  • Implementing OD and performance management initiatives in compliance with local and international mining regulations and navigating resistance to change.

 

Major Responsibilities / Outputs:

  • Manage and execute OD initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategies and relevance to all employees.
  • Conduct job assessments to align roles with strategic goals and analyze employee workloads to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Recommend changes to improve organizational efficiency, including adjustments to job descriptions, workload distribution, and staffing levels.
  • Identify and develop required competencies, training needs, and implement training programs locally.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives to foster a culture of change readiness and contribute to the diversity and inclusion strategy.
  • Implement and manage effective performance management systems, working with managers on goal development, feedback delivery, and performance discussions.
  • Oversee relationships with learning & development vendors, manage the induction, onboarding, and probation records for new employees, and assist with the VIE & employee secondment program.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 experience in Organizational Development and Performance Management within the mining industry or similar sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and interface with various departments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with managers and employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to frequent travel requirements.
  • Knowledge of local and international mining regulations, and experience in managing diversity and inclusion programs.
