Join our Gabonese subsidiary - Compagnie Minière de l'Ogooué (COMILOG), the world's leading producer of manganese ore in Moanda, Gabon. As Head of the Management Control Department, you will be at the heart of our mission to optimize our operations and guarantee COMILOG's financial performance. You will play an essential role in managing financial flows and in making strategic decisions to ensure the sustainable growth of our company.
The position is based in Moanda, Gabon, and reports to the Administrative and Financial Director.
Location: Moanda - GABON
Responsibilities :
- Preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, Long-Term Plan, monthly financial reporting and monthly forecast results or Rolling Forecast in collaboration with the relevant teams.
- Supervision of the production of monthly performance analyses, including operational indicators, production cost monitoring, productivity, and budget variances.
- Ensuring the relevance and robustness of the financial data prepared.
- Analyze profitability by product line and business segment, and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordination and preparation of analyses for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR & QBR), focusing on forecasts and corrective action plans.
- Structuring data representative of unit and product line performance to inform strategic decision-making.
- Participate in defining objectives, developing performance indicators, and conducting performance reviews.
- Challenge management on the achievement of results and advise on directions to be taken to optimize cash management.
- Development and improvement of analysis, steering and decision-making tools.
- Proactive organization, coordination and supervision of COMILOG's Management Control department.
- Management of a team of 7 people.
Your profile:
- Graduate of a business or engineering school, with a minimum of 15 years' experience.
- Proven experience in industrial sectors, particularly mining, and international experience with large international groups would be an asset.
- Proven expertise in cost control. Successful track record as an external auditor, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in this field.

- Autonomy, intellectual curiosity, excellent interpersonal skills and an international outlook will help you develop within the function.

- Fluency in both English and French is mandatory
