Responsibilities :
- Direct and manage all mining activities at the center, from exploration and production to ore shipping.Achieve and maintain zero accidents at the Center
- Ensure the implementation of best mining practices in compliance with international standards (safety, environment, etc.).
- Guarantee mine production within budget
- Also ensure the management of subcontracting companies and get involved in stakeholder management
Your profile:
- Higher education degree, from an engineering school with a strong geology component, and 15 years' experience in the Mining/Geology professions.
- Strong capacity for anticipation, adaptation, reactivity and crisis management
- Proven managerial skills, charisma and power of conviction, strong leadership skills
- Successful experience in leading a team and managing stakeholders in a complex societal environment
- Mastery of geology, mining techniques and the mining process in general
- Knowledge of performance management tools and methods
