Job Description:
The Mining Division is recruiting a Mining Center Manager (M/F) on a permanent contract for one of its sites in New Caledonia.
The Mining Center Manager is responsible for managing the site safely, efficiently, and productively while ensuring optimal internal and external social conditions. The role also includes ensuring compliance with mining regulations and environmental standards.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve and maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Lead and manage all mining activities, from exploration to production and ore shipment.
- Implement best mining practices in compliance with international standards (safety, environment, etc.).
- Ensure production targets are met within budget constraints.
- Oversee the management of subcontractors and actively engage with stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Geology, Mining, or Engineering, with 15 years of experience in the mining industry.
- Strong ability to anticipate, adapt, react, and manage crises.
- Proven leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and influence.
- Successful experience in team leadership and stakeholder management in a complex social environment.
- Expertise in geology, mining operations, and overall mining processes.
- Knowledge of performance management tools and methods.
