Permitting Engineer - M/F - FTC 8 months

We are currently looking for a Permitting Engineer on an 8-month fixed-term contract to strengthen our team.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Determine the budget, and define and optimize the resources required (human, technical, financial, etc.) to carry out the mining permitting project.
- Establish and negotiate the mining permitting project implementation plan (timetable, resources required, completion times for the various stages of the project, etc.).
- Set up, lead and supervise the permitting project team (environment, LT planning, mining center).
- Contribute to the characterization of the regulatory and environmental stakes of projects from the scoping study phase.
- Manage all environmental site characterization studies required for the development of mining projects (fauna, flora, erosion, hydrology, geotechnics, etc.), from drawing up specifications to validating deliverables.
- Develop the "Avoid/Reduce/Compensate" (ERC) sequence by cross-referencing initial status data with mining infrastructure projects.
- Draft or supervise the drafting and formatting of all documents required for work authorization applications.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the regulatory appraisal process for authorization files by preparing responses to requests for additional information from the authorities and by representing SLN at information and consultation meetings.
Your profile:
- Graduate of a general engineering school with a specialization in geology or the environment.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in mining permitting
- Fluent in French
