Job Description:
As Plant Reliability & Engineering Manager, you play a central role in enhancing the plant’s operational performance. You will be responsible for improving the reliability of industrial installations and supporting the modernization of maintenance strategies. Leading a team of technical experts, you will be a driving force for change and efficiency across all equipment and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the reliability roadmap (FMECA, audits, risk mitigation plans by equipment type).
- Implement advanced problem-solving methodologies (failure analysis, corrective actions).
- Challenge and improve preventive maintenance plans and identify critical spare parts.
- Supervise "small engineering" projects handled by the design office.
- Drive innovation in maintenance (IoT, predictive, condition-based, autonomous maintenance).
- Develop operational maintenance staff skills and support their professional growth.
- Analyze maintenance costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Contribute to long-term planning (5-year plans, major overhauls, investment roadmaps).
- Monitor regulatory and technical developments relevant to maintenance.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on safety and environmental standards.
Your Profile:
- Education: Engineering degree (generalist) with expertise in mechanics and electricity.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years in heavy industry or industrial environments with high technical challenges.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and reliability tools: FMECA, CMMS, WCM, failure analysis.
- Operational excellence mindset (Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC…).
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, structured, and solutions-oriented.
