SAP BC Application Manager F/M

Job Description:

Join a dynamic team within the Group IT Department, where the SAP BC Application Manager F/M  plays a key role in ensuring the performance and optimization of the Mines division. Based in Paris 15th arrondissement, with some travel expected, you will be part of our internal SAP competence center, working on the technical aspects of SAP and collaborating with internal IT teams and external partners. You will also take part in transformation projects, contributing to technical migrations and the implementation of new solutions, all while adhering to the company’s security standards. This is a strategic position for tech enthusiasts passionate about innovation and technology!

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and follow IT security procedures and methods.
  • Apply the IT Department’s project management methodology for all projects.
  • Adhere to IT architecture, urbanization, and methodological standards.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of Application Maintenance Services (TMA).
  • Manage/resolve incidents within your scope according to defined timelines.
  • Solve issues using established methodologies.
  • Oversee/perform standard services (requests) within your scope according to defined timelines.
  • Provide assistance and advice on using the assigned application systems. Contribute to improving business processes and applications in alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement application updates and developments (scoping, development or supervision, deployment) following established methodologies.
  • Define, propose, and execute actions and projects to maintain the operational integrity of applications within your scope.

 

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5), Engineering or Business School with minimum 5 years in SAP BC.
  • Knowledge of HANA databases and authorization management is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster a climate of trust.
  • Initiative and ability to propose and implement solutions.
  • Expertise in IT project management processes and TMA processes.
  • Knowledge of global IT architecture (network, mobility, data center).
  • Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
