Job Description:

 

We are seeking a Manganese Alloys Export Area Manager to manage sales of Manganese Alloys in a defined geographical area, with the aim of maximizing margins sustainably in collaboration with the Manganese Alloys Sales Manager. The Alloys Export Area Manager will also develop and coordinate sales of SiMn and LC SiMn, maximizing margins while adapting to variations in available volumes. The geographic areas covered include countries in Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Guarantee sales of Manganese Alloys in the region.
  • Manage the sales network via agents or directly.
  • Act as a "decarbonization" relay for key accounts, helping to promote the zero CO2 trajectory of Mn alloys.
  • Monitor market trends and maintain relations with customers/agents to gather technical and market information (Market Intelligence) with the support of the Marketing Department and the Operational Market Analyst to track changes in market needs.
  • Prepare and submit offers, considering various constraints (logistics, means of payment, etc.).
  • Negotiate sales and prepare contracts.
  • Together with the VIU manager and Steel Making Specialist, develop the VIU Alloys strategy for Mn.
  • Monitor customer credit and payments for the zone in conjunction with the Credit Manager.
  • Prospect for new customers.
  • Draw up sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Enhance customer relations, represent Eramet SA to customers.
  • Manage complaints in liaison with the Quality Manager.
  • Ensure stock levels are in line with objectives.
  • Analyze the SiMn and LC SiMn market, forecast supply and demand trends to optimize sales strategy.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing actions, in particular for special SiMn.
  • Develop and manage additional SiMn sales from Kvinesdal's CMM and LC SiMn.
  • Maximize SiMn product margins.

 

 

Your profile:

 

  • Graduate of a Business School, with at least 5 years experience in sales and/or marketing in the steel or raw materials sector.
  • Knowledge of the raw materials market is a plus.
  • International outlook.
  • Good negotiator, rigorous, good team player, customer-oriented, analytical, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of another language a plus.
  • Microsoft Office Pack.
