Head of Engagement & Experience W/M

Job Description
Reporting to the Group Communications Director, and with the support of a small team, the Head of Engagement & Experience designs and implements the Group’s Internal Communications, Managerial Communications, and Event Communications.
He/she directly contributes to developing Eramet’s reputation and image among its internal and external stakeholders.
He/she designs the Group’s communication initiatives as opportunities to create a positive experience for all stakeholders, strengthening their understanding of the Group’s projects and their commitment to them.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management
-
Manage and lead a team of 4 communication professionals.
Internal Communication
-
Propose and organize the Group’s internal communication initiatives to inform employees, provide them with a positive experience, and foster their engagement.

Directly lead the Group’s internal communications and coordinate content creation with the Brand, Content & Channels Manager.

Support subsidiary communication teams in developing and improving their internal communications.

Co-develop communications for Group functions (Procurement, IT, HR, R&D, Safety & Prevention, etc.) in close collaboration with their respective departments, targeting both internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to managerial team engagement.
Managerial Communication
-
Lead the Group’s managerial communications. Organize communication initiatives aimed at engaging the Group’s senior leaders (Eramet Leadership Team – ELT) and managers.

Oversee regular ELT calls and cascading communications, both in content and format. Lead the organization of the annual ELT seminar.

Collaborate closely with members of the Executive Committee (Comex) and the ELT.
Event Communication

The Group’s event communications include both internal and external initiatives.

Supervise the organization of the Group’s corporate events in France and internationally.

Work closely with HR teams at 10G and the Trappes site, as well as with subsidiary communications teams.

Key events include: trade shows and conferences (Mining Indaba), seminars (ELT, R&D, functions), inaugurations, launches of societal projects (Beyond program), as well as Comex member visits.
Additional Involvement
-
Contribute to the development and updating of the Group’s Communication Plan in cooperation with other members of the Communications Department (Brand, Content & Channels Manager; Press Relations Manager; Operational Communications Manager).

Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of internal, managerial, and event communications.

Facilitate and strengthen the skills of the Group’s communications network.
Profile
-
Master’s degree (Communications, Political Science, Economics, Law, or related).

10+ years’ experience in a 360° communications role, ideally in an industrial environment.

Proven expertise in project management, communication planning, and agency collaboration.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with executive-level stakeholders.

Creative, proactive, and highly adaptable, with a passion for diverse topics and international travel.

Strong digital communication skills and hands-on approach.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French; fluent professional English required.
