Become an agent of change and make a difference! By joining the Climate Department within the Environmental Dirvision and working in coordination with all relevant Departments, the Group Life Cycle Assessment Manager plays a fundamental role in implementing a responsible environmental approach. The main mission of this position is to evaluate and quantify the environmental footprint of Eramet Group's products, services, and processes throughout their life cycle. Reporting hierarchically to the Climate Change Coordinator, this position offers you the opportunity to contribute to the company's sustainability strategy and promote a future that respects the environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Defining Best Practices:

  • Develop and formalize practices for robust carbon accounting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish standardized procedures.
  • Contribute to work with relevant professional associations.
  • Synergize Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and financial reporting on environmental accounting.
  • Deployment of Analyses:

 

Conduct life cycle assessments according to ISO14040, ISO14044, and ISO14067 standards.

  • Establish an inventory of resources and impacts in coordination with technical teams.
  • Use specialized software to model and quantify flows.
  • Control and Continuous Improvement:

 

Maintain technical and regulatory monitoring on the developments of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).

  • Support validation audits.
  • Address stakeholder needs regarding the communication of environmental information.

 

Interpreting Results:

  • Communicate analysis results to stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations to reduce environmental footprint.
  • Educate employees on the strengths and limitations of the analyses.

 

About you: 

  • Advanced degree in environment, science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Life Cycle Assessment or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO14040, ISO14044, and ISO14067 standards.
  • Operational experience with various LCA software and emission factor databases.
  • Analytical skills and ability to account for and interpret complex data.
  • Awareness of environmental issues and the circular economy.
  • Strong service orientation and proven teamwork skills.
  • Excellent writing ability.
  • Professional proficiency in English and French.
