Mining Operations Product Owner F/M

Job Description:

The mining sector is now at the core of our group's strategy and its top priority. To strengthen this dynamic within Mining IS and support our business in achieving excellence, we are establishing a new Mining Operations team within the IT Department. Our goal is to develop and deploy cutting-edge application solutions across ERAMET Group subsidiaries.

The future Product Owner for the Mining Operations will therefore be responsible for the current and future MOM solutions of the mines operated by Eramet and their transition towards state-of-the-art practices and Industry 4.0. You will report to the Mining and Metal Solutions Manager. This position is based in Paris with regular travel based on projects.  

Responsibilities:

The functional scope primarily covers MES (Mining Execution System) and PIMS (Production Information Management System) type solutions and will evolve towards a more integrated MOM (Mine Operation Management) / IROC (Integrated Remote Operations Center) type scope. These objectives will be met by:

• Collaborating with internal customers to define priorities
• Ensuring a technology watch to stay current with the state of the art
• Guaranteeing the global and dynamic coherence of the standards within the perimeter with other IT department standards (Infrastructure, cybersecurity, etc.)
• Contributing to the development and animation of a community of use at the group level
• Contributing to data governance (harmonizing a group data model, defining a group data repository) with the Operational Excellence team
• Contribute to the development/consolidation of the industrial IS roadmap and its implementation in subsidiaries.
• Organize and provide support for the maintenance in operational condition (MCO)

Knowledge of ITIL best practices in the context of operational maintenance, particularly in ensuring the follow-up of incidents (prioritization, coordination of expertise, RCA) and the continuous improvement of the product

Your profile:

• Higher education degree Bac+5  with minimum of 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in managing level 3 industrial systems (Manufacturing Execution System, Production Information Management Systems, etc.) and/or industrial IoT solutions.
• Knowledge of the mining or process industries is a plus.
• Professional English & French required, a third language (Spanish, Chinese, etc.) is a plus.
• Agile methodology and project management, including:
• Writing of specifications (user stories)
• Management of the project team (prioritization of the backlog by value, definition, and follow-up of sprints)
• Follow-up of a team of project consultants (Business Analyst, architects, developers, server administrator, etc.)
• Change management
• Organization of the production launch
• Project reporting
