Job description
Eramet is recruiting an Organizational Efficiency Expert to ensure that the operational improvement objectives of our international mining and metallurgical sites are implemented in production and maintenance activities.
The main activity will be to conduct "coaching in the field", in addition to on-site training workshops.
The position can be based in Paris (or Trappes if desired) and involves extensive travel (more than 50% of the time) to mining and metallurgical sites in Gabon, Senegal, Indonesia, France, Norway, the USA and New Caledonia.
Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, your activities will include:
- Actively participate in projects to improve the organizational efficiency of the Eramet Group's mining operations and plants.
- Implement the standards of the Eramet Production Management System (EPS)
- Communicate and interact effectively with local operations teams
- Develop continuous improvement actions such as Lean 6 Sigma
- Draw up an appropriate roadmap to achieve expected performance targets
- Support benchmarking of KPIs and sharing of operational best practices within the Group
- Ensure that the standards used are consistent with those of other world-class mining and metallurgical groups
- Influence the organizational structure to optimize interfaces and support the implementation of performance routines
- Guide change management, especially consequence management
- Positively impact management through coaching at operational and top management levels
Your Profile:
BAC+5 with at least 7 years' operational and organizational transformation experience on mining and metallurgical sites with a world-class operational reputation.
You also have the following skills:
- Experience in leading and taking direct responsibility for major operational improvement projects
- Knowledge and application of root cause analysis and transformation methods (Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, etc.)
- As a team-builder, leader and good communicator, you have the ability to manage change and steer projects in difficult contexts.
- Proven expertise in Excel and digital tools dedicated to production and maintenance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to a complex, constantly changing environment and organization
- You are fluent in written and spoken English and have at least an intermediate level of French
