Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Operational Planning Manager (MPS) to manage the planning and coordination of finished goods shipments at our sites. This key position involves daily collaboration with production, sales, sales administration and logistics teams, ensuring that products are available at the right time and in the right place. With a planning horizon of 0-3 months, extending to 4-6 months, you will lead planning meetings, manage complex logistics flows and develop strategic reports and performance indicators.

 

Responsibilities :

Develop the quarterly finished goods shipment plan in line with the S&OP plan and integrate the replenishment plans to the distribution centers provided by the distribution managers.
Close collaboration with production sites to ensure the feasibility of the quarterly plan, while taking into account production priorities.
Communication of finished product availability (week of departure from factories, associated quantities) to sales teams, notably during quarterly negotiations.
Reporting of operational plans (actual and projected) and major constraints/risks to the S&OP Manager for a planning horizon of 0 to 18 months.
Weekly and daily production monitoring with industrial sites.
Follow-up of order status with sales and sales administration teams.
Coordination of transport orders with logistics: barge, ships, containers.
Follow-up of shipments and management of postponements in the event of delays.
Coordination with various parties in the event of quality problems, in collaboration with the quality department.
Carry out administrative tasks for shipments in SAP or planning systems, detect anomalies in the system and suggest improvements.

 

Your profile :

Master's degree (Bac+5) with a specialization in logistics, planning, production management or supply chain management, with at least 3 years' successful experience in a similar position.
Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, in particular Excel, essential.
Knowledge of SAP and planning tools is a plus.
Knowledge of logistics/transportation, operational research, scheduling and/or flow simulation.
Fluency in French and English essential.
Organized, clear communicator, customer-oriented and flexible.
Results-oriented, proactive, persuasive, with a strong sense of optimization.
