S&OP Manager H/F
Purpose of the position :
The Manager S&OP will lead the Sales & Operations process for mid/long term vision (3-18 months) of the whole manganese value chain from the mine to internal/external transformation plants to worldwide alloys customers.
He/She engages all key business contributors in using dedicated S&OP tool (WAM) and drive automation of supply planning and Variable Margin projection to maximize value creation in decision making process.
Area : 1 Mn ore mine, 1 sintering & enrichment plant, 6 Mn alloys plants in 4 countries (Gabon, France, Norway, USA) across 3 continents.
Responsibilities:
Process and tool management
• Manage S&OP processes and support BU director(s) as S&OP process owner, in particular leverage industry best practices and continuous improvements to enhance S&OP processes
• Schedule and facilitate each S&OP meeting with adequate supporting documents to ensure that the organization stays focused on the right horizon and do not get lost in detail
• Engage at all levels of the organization and guide each functional area in understanding how they impact the S&OP process, provide necessary training to key users where applicable
• Drive changes in the organization for the sake of process improvement (synchronisation of S&OP with financial exercises, work simplification for planning teams etc)
• Ensure functional administration and Master Data management of S&OP IT tools, in relation with technical support
S&OP value creation
• Monitor forecast accuracy and customer service level to identify potential impacts to Supply Planning
• Work closely with sales team, production sites and supply chain teams to assess red KPIs, and facilitate resolution and action plan for issues
• Understand and help planning team to identify business issues to define risks / opportunities
• Drive automation of Supply planning (production, logistics, inventory) and Variable Margin and Working Capital forecasting, analyse the results and explain to key users whenever needed, present analysis of different scenarios to accelerate decision making process
• Work closely with operational planning teams to ensure consideration of operational constraints in S&OP and execution of S&OP decisions in conformity in operations
Participation in continuous improvement of planning activities
• Back up planning manager(s) for the continuity of planning service
• Participate in various projects of the division in relation to planning optimization or logistics
flow management
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sales and operations activities
About you :
You have a Master degree in General Engineering / Business School / Supply chain management and over 8 years of experience in industrial supply chain management, good knowledge of supply chain planning and related tools.
You also have:
• Good level in Microsoft office especially Excel/Power Point
• Good command of advanced planning tools
• Fluent in French and English
• Strong analytical skills
• Eager to learn individual with a mix of collaborative personality and strong drive
• Ability to work in fast-changing environment, agile, flexible, client & result oriented
