Job description:
We are recruiting a Maintenance Expert to provide technical support, performance improvement best practices and standards application to our mining sites on mobile equipment maintenance. He/She will report to the Process-Assets Management Manager.
The position is located in Paris (Trappes possible if desired). Travel will be required to our sites in New Caledonia, Indonesia, Gabon and Senegal (approximately 50% of the time).
Responsibilities :
In this context, you will be in charge of :
- Provide technical and methodological support to mine site maintenance managers and rail operators
- Participate in the implementation of the World Class Maintenance program (part of the Eramet Production System)
- Define maintenance standards for mining equipment and rolling stock and ensure their application (audit)
- Monitor KPIs related to mining asset management
- Assist mining sites with engineering aspects of internal projects, resolution of operating problems, start-up of installations
- Monitor mining sites' investment requirements, in line with performance.
- Act as a benchmark for best industrial practices in mine site reliability.
- Build, lead and develop a network of mine maintenance referents, with a view to promoting and converging best practices (ICG: International Competency Groups).
- Participate in cross-functional maintenance working groups
Your Profile :
- Initial training at Bac+5 level Engineering school or Master 2
- Minimum 15 years' experience, most of which in maintenance on mining sites. Good knowledge of mobile mining equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of Operational Excellence methods
- Ability to work cross-functionally and internationally - intercultural sensitivity
- Ability to listen, to synthesize, to federate and to lead
- Working English imperative and an intermediate level of French
