Strategy Manager Lithium BU - M/F
Paris, FR
Eramet will start the operation of its first 24kt Lithium Carbonate plant in Argentina in the Province of Salta (Centenario phase 1) at the end of 2024. This first Direct Lithium Extraction plant (DLE) is expected to accelerate the growth of Eramet Lithium platform and reinforce the pipeline of Lithium projects opportunities that Eramet is currently developing (Centenario phase 2, AGELI project in France, projects in Chile…).
Job description
As a Strategy Manager for the Lithium Business Unit, you will play a central role in shaping and executing our lithium strategy. This newly created position will empower you to develop a comprehensive market understanding, guide strategic decision-making, and support our business development efforts. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of the Lithium BU, your insights will be vital to the success of high-impact projects across Eramet’s expanding lithium portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Develop and consolidate intelligence on the lithium market, focusing on supply and demand mid-long term dynamics, emerging technologies, and key industry players.
- Strategy Development: Design and implement a strategy that maximizes value creation and supports the Business Unit's expansion.
- Project Leadership: Oversee key strategic and operational projects, contributing to business growth and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate strategy, commercial department R&D, geology, and M&A, to drive alignment on critical initiatives.
- Support to BU Leadership: Assist the Head of the BU in coordinating high-level meetings and ensuring the progress of key priorities.
Your Profile
- Education: Graduate of a top-tier engineering or business school.
- Experience: 7-10 years in a top management consulting firm, with additional subsequent experience in mining, industry, or energy sectors.
- Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work autonomously.
- Languages: Fluent in French and English; Spanish proficiency is a major asset
