Job Description

 

Eramet’s Group Tax and Customs Department is looking for a generalist Tax Specialist to strengthen its team, within the Accounting/Consolidation department, based in Paris 15th. As part of a small, close-knit team reporting to the Finance Department, you will contribute to all of the Group’s tax-related topics, in connection with its international activities across 15 countries. This role offers a stimulating environment where technical tax expertise is closely tied to operational matters.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide tax recommendations, identify potential risks, and propose corrective actions
  • Advise operational, legal, and accounting teams on all types of taxation, including drafting tax-related clauses in contracts
  • Analyze the tax implications of restructuring, acquisitions, and disposals, and participate in due diligence processes
  • Monitor tax audits and disputes (developing strategy, drafting responses, and managing negotiations)
  • Contribute to the Group's transfer pricing policy and assist subsidiaries with required documentation and CbCR filing
  • Support the validation of corporate income tax, deferred taxes, and effective tax rates for forecasts and financial closings
  • Conduct tax reviews of tax filings (liasses fiscales)
  • Perform ongoing tax watch (France and internationally) and take part in internal awareness-raising sessions
  • Ensure the Group’s compliance with applicable tax regulations, including Pillar 2 rules

 

Profile

 

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Tax Law, from a university or business/law school dual degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in corporate taxation, ideally gained within a large international group or a specialized law/accounting firm
  • Strong command of French tax law and good understanding of international tax issues
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken; Spanish is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders
  • Autonomous, meticulous, analytical mindset, with strong negotiation skills
