Technical Marketing Manager - W/M

As part of Eramet’s Commercial Division, then Technical Marketing Manager will serve as the global technical reference for the value in use of our mineral products (zircon, TiO₂ feedstocks) and a key contributor in supporting our clients in their decarbonization journey.
This strategic role places you at the intersection of sales, R&D, sustainability and operations, helping shape Eramet’s technical-commercial positioning in key global markets.

 

Responsibilities

 

50% – Technical Sales Support: Value in Use

 

  • Conduct comparative technical assessments of our products (zircon, TiO₂ feedstocks) vs. substitutes in ceramics, pigments, foundry applications.
  • Build impactful technical sales arguments for international business teams.
  • Lead technical and competitive intelligence efforts (customer processes, product performance, market entrants).
  • Deliver training to sales teams and provide direct technical support to customers.
  • Identify growth opportunities in both existing and emerging applications.

 

50% – Customer Decarbonization

           

  • Analyze customer decarbonization roadmaps by collecting operational data and calculating carbon trajectories.
  • Identify technical levers (quick wins, biocarbon, CCUS) and classify them by maturity.
  • Promote Eramet’s internal expertise and R&D projects related to carbon reduction.
  • Co-develop a semi-automated tool to simulate decarbonization scenarios for the sales team.
  • Build a shared knowledge base (benchmarks, customer data, regulatory updates) to support long-term ESG partnerships.

 

Your Profile

 

Education & Experience

 

  • Engineering degree in Geology, Mining, Chemical Engineering, Process, or Materials Science
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in a technical or business development role in relevant sectors (minerals, ceramics, pigments) or in climate/ESG consulting

 

Key Skills

 

  • Deep understanding of industrial customer processes
  • Analytical rigor and the ability to synthesize and simplify complex technical topics
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Autonomy, business acumen, and initiative
  • Fluency in French and English

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge of zircon / TiO₂ feedstocks
  • Familiarity with carbon regulation frameworks (CBAM, India, China…)
  • Experience with modeling tools or decision-support systems
  • Participation in international trade shows or technical conferences
