Job Description:

We are seeking for a Technical Marketing and Quality Manager M/F to join Eramet's Technical Sales Support team. Reporting to the Technical Sales Support Manager, you play a key role at the interface between commercial teams, production sites, and customers.

 

Your mission: transform technical expertise into value creation levers by ensuring the quality of delivered products and developing a deep understanding of customer applications in the Lithium and Mineral Sands markets on a global scale.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Support for the development of Lithium activity (60%)

Customer qualification & documentation

  • Respond to customer qualification questionnaires as part of tenders
  • Coordinate internal expertise to provide complete, relevant, and timely responses
  • Structure and maintain the associated documentation system (technical datasheets, certifications, etc.)

 

Customer complaints management & product quality

  • Oversee the handling of customer complaints, from receipt to resolution, ensuring responsiveness and customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and the definition of corrective actions, in collaboration with production sites
  • Manage major or urgent incidents: product refusals, stock non-conformities
  • Draft arguments and response letters to customers; formalize and update complaint management procedures
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to calculate compensation amounts granted to customers
  • Measure and monitor quality performance indicators (OTIF, complaint rate, resolution time) for all product lines
  • Lead quality meetings with production sites to identify root causes and monitor corrective action plans

 

Understanding customer applications & sales support

  • Develop and maintain updated techno-economic models on customer processes (lithium refining, battery production, etc.)
  • Analyze customers' industrial processes, operational constraints, and commercial potential
  • Identify markets where substitution is impossible and assess their value potential for Eramet
  • Evaluate the potential of new products and applications, in line with the Group's strategy
  • Provide expert technical support to commercial teams and international offices
  • Design and deliver regular training sessions for sales teams, both in France and internationally
  • Translate complex technical analyses into clear, structured, and actionable content for decision-makers.

 

Operational excellence & coordination with production sites

  • Act as the spokesperson for customer requirements to production sites and ensure the link between market demands and industrial feasibility.
  • Monitor quality action plans related to the maturity development of production processes.
  • Co-host steering meetings with site coordinators and conduct field visits to verify the implementation of actions.
  • Contribute to the evolution of product specifications to maximize value creation for Eramet.

 

Support on Value-in-Use challenges – Mineral Sands (40%)

  • Develop market knowledge and technical aspects for zircon and mineral sands applications (ceramics, refractories, foundry, pigments, titanium metal, welding, etc.).
  • Analyze customer processes, identify their operational constraints, and pinpoint markets with no substitution possibilities.
  • Assess the potential of new products for existing and emerging applications, in collaboration with internal experts.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to sales teams.
  • Design and deliver regular training sessions for commercial teams and regional offices.

 

 

Your Profile:

Education: Engineering degree in Chemistry, Process Engineering, or an equivalent scientific discipline (Master’s level).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical field: R&D, industrial process modeling, Operational Excellence, Technical Marketing, or Technical Sales Support. Experience in an international and multicultural context is highly valued.

Technical Skills:

  • Background in chemistry/process engineering with a strong interest in techno-economic modeling.
  • Ability to handle diverse technical topics with rigor and a synthesis mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent English is essential (international environment).
