Eramet Grande Côte is a Senegalese subsidiary of the Eramet Group that specializes in the recovery of ilmenite, rutile, ilmenite, and zircon. The mine and its two processing plants have been in service since 2014. The project has managed to overcome a series of human, technical, and societal challenges to recover these natural resources, in partnership with the country’s public authorities and local communities.

 

VIE is a civic service established by the French State.

Reminder of VIE eligibility requirements as required by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

  • Be of French or European nationality (a national of the member states of the European Economic Area).

  • Be aged between 18 and 28 years old (departure no later than the day of the 29th birthday).

 

 

Main Missions:

  • Processing and following up on Purchase Requests from all our internal clients, transmitting quotes for validation by requesters and decision-makers.

  • Searching for suppliers, evaluating supplier price offers, and negotiating.

  • Handling replenishments in an ERP system.

  • Handling calls for tenders.

  • Managing projects and proposing tools to improve the existing process within the Purchasing and Logistics Department (task automation, proposing files, templates, etc.).

 

Your Profile:

  • Training in Purchasing, International Trade at Bac +4 / +5 level.

  • Initial experience as a buyer and/or affinity for the industrial sector.

  • Good capacity and knowledge in 'sourcing'.

  • Good IT knowledge and skills (using an ERP system, Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT, etc.).

  • Good analytical and negotiation skills.

  • Dynamism and good interpersonal skills.

  • Good mastery of customer service.

  • Good communication (fluent English / French).
