VIE - Data Analyst - H/F

Eramet Grande Côte is a Senegalese subsidiary of the Eramet Group that specializes in the recovery of ilmenite, rutile, ilmenite, and zircon. The mine and its two processing plants have been in service since 2014. The project has managed to overcome a series of human, technical, and societal challenges to recover these natural resources, in partnership with the country’s public authorities and local communities.

 

VIE is a civic service established by the French State.

 

Reminder of VIE eligibility requirements as required by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

  • Be of French or European nationality (a national of the member states of the European Economic Area).

  • Be aged between 18 and 28 years old (departure no later than the day of the 29th birthday).

 

 

Main missions :

  • Support the data governance approach aimed at structuring and ensuring the reliability of data flows across the value chain at ERAMET GRANDE CÔTE.
  • Assess and improve the maturity of data governance across all processes.
  • Support the operational excellence approach focused on analyzing operational data.
  • Perform quantitative analyses on various issues as requested by operational management.
  • Where applicable, sustain these analyses by developing performance management tools (e.g., Power BI Dashboards) and train teams in their use.
  • Train operational teams and/or future Data Analysts in data analysis.
  • Promote digital transformation within ERAMET GRANDE CÔTE and the Eramet Group.
  • Formalize data exchanges to ensure data traceability during audits.
  • Ensure that data is documented in the company's data catalog.
  • Assist operational teams in implementing and deploying data management standards related to their activities (definitions of business concepts with descriptive metadata, tracking indicators, reference frameworks, data quality rules, centralized tools, etc.).
  • Ensure cross-functional sharing of work to enhance visibility and align with ongoing initiatives for various business functions.
  • Contribute to roadmap facilitation and cross-functional mediation among all stakeholders to help prioritize data governance projects.

 

 

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree or Engineering degree with a specialization in data analysis.
  • At least one year of experience, preferably in the mining sector.
  • Technical Skills: Python, R, Databricks, and Machine Learning (intermediate level minimum).
  • Fluent in French and English.
