Eramine Sudamérica SA is a subsidiary of Eramet, a French global mining and metallurgical group. It is located in the Salar Centenario Ratones, 3,800 meters above sea level, in the department of Los Andes, in Salta, Argentina.
Exploration activities started 12 years ago and at the end of 2019 our pilot plant started operating, providing a demonstration of the quality of the final lithium carbonate product, with more than 90% direct extraction efficiency.

Description:
The main responsibility of the role is to ensure an efficient and effective maintenance contract planning and management system, aligning the area's activities with the company's strategic objectives. Coordinates and supervises the planning and contracts team, optimizing resources and ensuring operational continuity within Eramine's safety and regulatory compliance framework.
This position reports to: Maintenance Manager.
Location: Centenario-Ratones Project, Salta, Argentina.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute maintenance planning strategies that minimize downtime.
- Supervise and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms.
- Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers/contractors.
- Implement continuous improvements in contract management.
- Lead the team of planners and specialists.
- Collaborate with other areas to design comprehensive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Manage CMMS/SAP PM tools.
Your profile:
- Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Experience in technical team leadership.
- Previous experience in mining or related industries is desirable.
- Maintenance planning: TPM, RCM, etc.
- Contract management and negotiation.
- Legal regulations in public/private procurement.
- Proficiency in CMMS/SAP PM tools.
- Preparation and analysis of technical reports.
- Intermediate English (desirable)
