Purpose of the position:
- Sonic Bay project aims at developing an industrial complex in Indonesia to produce and intermediate Nickel and Cobalt concentrate from the Weda Bay ore deposit (Halmahera Island). The project scope includes an ore preparation plant, an hydrometallurgical plant using High Pressure Acid Leach (HPAL) technology to produce the concentrate, a power plant, a sulfuric acid plant and a tailings storage facility.
- The industrial complex will be located on the Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park ( IWIP ).
The Supply Chain Manager Harbour - Indonesia works to ensure that goods arriving from suppliers on vessels are properly unloaded, customs cleared and delivered on site on time and with no damages.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of the relevant level of Supply Chain/Logistic Services for Harbour operations and transportation on site
- Manage the Customs processes supported by the Logistic Services Provider
- Manage the Logistic Service Provider on daily basis
- Interface with Site and Project
- Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager
- Contribute to the treatment of claims with local suppliers
About you:
- Engineer graduated
- 10 years of experience in Industrial Supply Chain on remote site
- Proven experience of customs processes in Asia
- Fluent English
- Chinese language fluent mandatory
