INTERNSHIP OPTIMIZATION OF THE BATTERY RECYCLING PROCESS M/W

Contract type:  Internship

Eramet IDEAS, the group's innovation center for the application of new technologies to its businesses (connected mining, responsible mining, recycling, etc.), employs 150 engineers and technicians in the territory of Saint Quentin en Yvelines in a working environment pleasant on the edge of the national forest of Port-Royal. Developing and implementing innovation programs with a constant focus on continuous improvement are our daily mission.

 

Within the Hydrometallurgy department, you will work in close collaboration with the engineers and technicians of the R&D department of Eramet Ideas, and more specifically in the development of the Li-ion battery recycling process.

 

Objective & Missions:

 

  • Optimization of process parameters to reach the physical and chemical specifications of commercial products
  • Study of the possibilities of integrating the various sectors and resources studied.
  • Search for existing and disruptive solutions through a bibliography and a targeted benchmark
  • Design and conduct laboratory and possibly pilot-scale trials,
  • Contribute to the realization of a larger cross-functional R&D project, in which several engineers and technicians are involved

 

Required Profile:

 

  • 3rd year of Engineering school or Master 2 in Process Engineering
  • French/English proficiency
  • Taste for experimental work in R&D and teamwork
