Advanced Process Control Specialist M/W

Purpose of the position:  

  

The main objective is to improve the technical performance of the Group's plants by using efficient expert systems, minimizing the need for human interaction for the control of industrial processes.   

The main task will be to develop technical skills and expertise in Advanced Control at our industrial sites.  

  

Responsibilities:   

 

In this context, you will be led to:  

 

  • Evaluate and improve the maturity of the process control systems of the Group's plants and drive a global process control roadmap to maximize OEE and reduce operating costs  

  • Propose, implement and monitor performance indicators for supervision systems  

  • Propose and implement control strategies to optimize process, mine and plant performance  

  • As the Advanced Process Control referent at the Group level, ensure a technological watch in the field of supervision and expert systems  

  • In coordination with Operational Excellence, participate in the technical benchmarking of sites  

  

Your Profile:  

  

  • Education: Master 2 or Engineering School: generalist, automation, industrial IT  

  • Experience: 10 years minimum, including a significant part in operations (mineral processing plant, metallurgy or comparable sector)  

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment - intercultural sensitivity  

  • Ability to listen, to synthesize, to federate and to animate  

  • Operational English imperative
