Job Description:

This position is based in Trappes (78) and requires international travel.

The Expert within the Technology & Scientific Excellence (TSE) Department at Eramet Ideas plays a central role in these objectives. They envision solutions in industrial environments, both in terms of technology and process, creating incremental innovations that generate competitive advantages for the Group. Through their professional network and undisputed expertise, the Expert embeds open innovation into the Group's DNA and actively contributes to the visibility of Eramet Ideas.

Responsibilities:

As a domain Expert, you will:

• Be a reference in terms of mindset and behavior through the visibility of your role;

• Master one or more areas of expertise and serve as an authority on related issues;

• Act as an entrepreneur with the ability to transform collected ideas into business opportunities and value creation for the Group, relying on solid industrial experience;

• Be a driving force for innovation within Group projects, play an active role in the innovation governance process, propose and promote new projects;

• Act as scientific guarantor for projects led by Eramet Ideas from R&D to industrialization;

• Help ensure the Group’s sustainability by maintaining and developing its competencies, participating in international conferences, publishing articles, and contributing to professional working groups;

• Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in your area of expertise through benchmarking and tracking technical developments via relationships with academic labs and industrial partners, to better understand the competitive landscape;

• Contribute to the Group’s Knowledge Management strategy and to developing the competencies of Eramet Ideas teams;

• Provide training to engineers and technicians at Eramet Ideas in your field of expertise.

Your Profile:

• Graduate from an engineering school or hold a PhD in metallurgical processes, materials science, or process engineering.

• You have 10 to 15 years of significant industrial experience in pyrometallurgy.

• You are recognized as an expert in your field, with established technical credibility demonstrated by concrete achievements (patents, publications, operational results).
