Procurement & Finance Manager W/M
Trappes, FR
The position is based in Trappes (78) and reports directly to the President of Eramet Ideas.
The Procurement and Finance Manager is a member of the Management Committee and leads a team of four people.
He/she will play a key role in implementing EID’s strategy and will actively contribute to strategic decisions and governance processes by providing financial expertise.
He/she is responsible for financial strategy, management control, reporting, accounting, procurement, and tax compliance at Eramet Ideas. He/she plays a key role in shaping the organization’s strategic direction and in the financial management of R&D projects, in collaboration with the Group’s industrial entities, scientific partners, and institutional stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Management Control:
- Develop and manage the overall budget (~€35M CAPEX/OPEX), ensuring alignment between financial forecasts and innovation objectives.

Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and productivity of a corporate innovation center, aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

Implement financial management tools adapted to complex technological projects.

Track key performance indicators: productivity, billing rate, return on investment, project margin, cash flow.

Build financial indicators (EBITDA, FCF, hourly rates/transfer pricing, key value drivers, billing rates).

Ensure budget monitoring, closings (J+5), monthly rolling forecasts, and asset management.

Manage cash flow (6–12 months), research tax credit (CIR), and external funding.

Represent Eramet Ideas within Group functions (management control, treasury, taxation, procurement, and IT).
Accounting, Taxation, and Compliance:

Supervise general and analytical accounting in coordination with the Group’s shared service centers.

Ensure compliance with French GAAP and IFRS standards.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (J+5) and coordinate internal/external audits.

Ensure tax compliance (VAT, CIR, local taxes) and liaise with external auditors.

Implement monthly internal controls.

Support the organization in developing and monitoring action plans to control and mitigate risks.
Procurement and Supplier Management:

Define procurement strategy, validate commitments above €3K, and negotiate framework agreements.

Optimize costs through structured procurement levers, aligned with Group policies (e.g., CashControl).

Supervise the integration of procurement processes into the ERP system.

Coordinate buyers and optimize supplier costs.
R&D Tax Credit and Innovation Funding:

Oversee the annual R&D tax credit declaration (CIR), working with technical teams and specialized firms.

Identify and secure external funding sources (grants, innovation support, public/private partnerships).
Digitalization and Financial Tools:

Contribute to the digital transformation of the finance function.

Develop and automate management tools (BI, ERP).

Improve the quality of closing and reporting processes (Executive Dashboard).

Perform risk analyses and implement control action plans.
Profile:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Management Control, Accounting, or equivalent (DSCG, Master’s from a Grande École, Audit, etc.).

Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in an industrial, technological, or R&D environment.

Strong skills in management control, accounting, taxation, IFRS reporting, and understanding of R&D issues.

Languages: Fluent French and professional English required.

Qualities: Leadership, rigor, results-oriented, strategic mindset, and strong cross-functional communication skills.
